Over the years, he has worked on the Linux kernel as a maintainer of the dynamic memory allocation subsystem and participated in the development of ScyllaDB—a high-performance distributed database compatible with Apache Cassandra and focused on minimal latencies. Currently, Pekka is the co-founder and CTO of Turso.
