My name is Creston Jamison. I have worked with Microsoft SQL Server since the late 1990s, moved to Oracle in the early 2000s, and have used PostgreSQL since 2008. This gives me more than 15 years of hands-on PostgreSQL work.
About eight years ago, I started consulting for companies that use PostgreSQL. In 2018, I launched a weekly show called Scaling Postgres. I recently released the 300th episode.
I help clients improve database speed and stability. Some systems gain performance boosts up to 10,000 times. I also support multi-petabyte databases with trillions of rows.
