This book is all you need to confidently build a developer career. It's what they don't teach you in courses or university.

I wanted to write a book that would have been useful to me at the beginning of my career.

The ability to write code alone is no longer enough. The industry has changed. More and more companies are moving to remote work. The job market is oversaturated. To stand out among other employees and become indispensable to a company, you need to find your own approach.

When I was a junior developer, I was constantly Googling how to improve my skills or how to become a senior engineer.

However, the information I found did not meet my needs.

I had to find my own ways to become a successful developer. And now, I'm sharing all that knowledge in my book.

A year and a half after starting work, I already became a senior engineer.

Throughout my career, I was obsessed with the idea of developing, learning quickly, and growing professionally. I worked as a frontend engineer, blockchain engineer, full-stack engineer, and iOS developer.

What the book covers:

Career - how to create a daily schedule, be beneficial at work, quickly adapt to a new company, career growth strategies, how to effectively aim for a promotion, and much more.

Skills - how to become a strong developer: soft skills, developing the necessary work skills, whether to specialize, how to properly analyze tasks, how to be more productive, and much more.

Burnout - how to deal with imposter syndrome, stay motivated, work efficiently, and other important aspects.

Learning - how to get used to discomfort, use deep work as a developer, be a builder (creator), and much more.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer. I started coding at the age of 12 and started my career at Ticketfly after college. I was the first Junior Engineer that the company ever hired, and I became a Senior Engineer in less than 2 years. I helped create various applications in both iOS and multiple front-end projects. I also worked to improve onboarding experiences, interviewed and recruited candidates, and created style guides for the company. I’ve also worked at companies such as Eventbrite and Pandora. I’ve created several programs in the companies I’ve worked at including a mentorship group that paired senior and junior engineers in a structured way to advance both careers. I’m a published O’Reilly author and speaker.
