Course description

This course teaches you the GRAMMAR which is essential for a high IELTS band score. It explains hundreds of essential grammar points which IELTS candidates need to understand. It has thousands of sentences and examples to help you understand, as well as tests and practice activities. The course teaches you how to use and recognise all the tenses you will need, as well as all of the different sentence structures used in the IELTS exam.

Read more about the course

You will learn how to impress the examiner with your use of gerunds and infinitives, passives and modals, articles and determiners, adjectives and adverbs. You will develop a detailed knowledge of pronouns, prepositions and punctuation. You will also find out how to use more unusual grammar such as inversion.

The course has been written by former IELTS examiners who know what you need to get BAND 7.0 or higher. The team at Prepare For IELTS are all English native-speakers. They have all taught IELTS for more than 18 years, and they all have Master’s Degrees.

This course will help you prepare for both the General and Academic IELTS exams. You will learn grammar which you can use in the WRITING and SPEAKING tests, as well as grammar you will have to understand in the READING and LISTENING tests.
